Booking Terms and Conditions  (except Group Booking Requirements)



All accommodation at Colonial Village is to be paid for at the time of booking.

Payment can be made by the following methods;

  • Visa Credit 1.33%, MasterCard Credit 1.58%, Visa Debit 0.91%, MasterCard Debit 0.70%


Deposits and Identification

Identification must be available at the time of check-in showing a valid photo ID and a valid Credit Card. Please note that Colonial Village requires a credit card pre-authorisation of $100.00 AUD upon check-in to cover any incidental charges, however, if the credit card you initially provided for payment was declined on processing, you will be required to provide a $100.00 Cash / Eftpos Deposit.

In the event that you do not have a credit card, a cash or Eftpos deposit of $100.00 AUD will be required.

Credit Card pre-authorisations are a ‘hold’ only on your credit card. No charges will be made unless you depart Colonial Village without finalising your account and or in the event that you depart and leave your accommodation in an unsatisfactory state and / or keys are not returned.

Eftpos and Cash Deposits are refunded upon check-out (after 7.00am) and in the event that your account, keys are returned and accommodation is in order.



24 hours’ notice must be given prior to the arrival date i.e. by 2.00pm prior to the day of arrival. Cancellation after this time or Non-Arrival will incur the full amount of the total booking charge. If all or part of the booking period is resold, a refund may be granted.

If you have booked directly with Colonial Village and you need to cancel your reservation, you are required to do so by way of email to Once your email has been received your reservation will be cancelled and a refund processed.

Guests who have a made a reservation through a third party selling site must contact that site directly. Colonial Village is unable to amend or cancel reservations made through a third party.

If your booking was paid for by credit card and incurred the above surcharge, only the accommodation component of the charge will be refunded. The credit card surcharge fee will not be refunded.

Guests are advised to consider Travel Insurance to cover unforeseen changes, events or natural disasters.


Group Booking Requirements

Each Group Booking is tailored to the needs and requirements of the Group at the time of booking. 

Specific terms and conditions are arranged with the Group Reservations Manager and the Group's nominated contact person during the quoting and booking process.
