What to do

Colonial Village is suitably located for visitors to Brisbane and the south-east corner of Queensland. Many of Queensland's natural attraction are nearby, including Moreton Bay and it's islands, the Gold and Sunshine Coasts and the rainforests of the Hinterlands just to name a few.

The friendly staff at Colonial Village are always ready to point you in the right direction, with helpful hints, maps, timetables and brochures to make the most of your visit.

The new Centro Taigum Shopping Centre is only a few minutes walk away; a Gold Class Cinema Complex and Westfield Chermside Shopping Centre are only a five-minute drive away. If you're in the mood to "shop till you drop!" the Airport DFO (Direct Factory Outlet) is just over 10 minutes drive away.

Bus and train stops are close to Colonial Village so you can forget about the hustle and bustle of driving yourself. Or, just stay in and enjoy the onsite facilities such as the pools, hot tub, the half-size tennis court, the barbeque area or the restaurant (who wants to cook on holidays?) and Colonial Village's own convenience store.
